William Frederick Reinhardt Jr.

William Frederick Reinhardt Jr. “Bill”, age 81, of Delran, NJ was born to Irene Mary Nagy and William Frederick Reinhardt on May 11, 1941 in Trenton, NJ. Bill’s wishes were honored on May 2, 2023, when he passed away at home surrounded by his loves. Avid gardener that he was, Bill has gone ahead to clear a path and plant flowers in the next life for his loving wife, Helene, and his two daughters, Krista and Kara. Bill is survived by his treasured family members including his brother Don Reinhardt and dear friends from the best times of his life.

Bill grew up in Bordentown and Burlington City and graduated from Burlington City High School in 1959. After graduating from high school, Bill attended Temple University where he studied architecture. Bill took a job at an architecture firm before pursuing his real passion as a journalist. Bill was a newspaperman for over 42 years and worked at the Burlington County Times and Courier Post.   He was a stringer, sports writer, travel reviewer, restaurant reviewer and heading up the features section at the Courier Post before his retirement in 2011

In 1960 Bill met the love of his life Helene Hartman and on September 13, 1975 they were married at All Saints Church in Burlington NJ.  In 1985 Bill and Helene adopted their first daughter Krista Hartman Reinhardt and in 1990 they adopted their second daughter Kara Hartman Reinhardt. Bill leaves his girls with so many fond memories of their adventures exploring the infinite abyss, loyally cheering them on, and constantly reassuring them to trust their own paths. He will always be with them encouraging patience with themselves and one another, and suggesting they pick their battles.

Please join us for “Bill’s Celebration of Life and Memorial Service” on Friday, May 12, 2023, from 4 pm to 8 pm at The Porch Club (213 Howard St., Riverton, NJ 08077).
